Description

This quit-claim deed transfers lot P in Block no. 3 from the Mission Cemetery to George B. Merriman for five dollars ($5). Attached to the front of the original quit-claim deed is a Certificate of Offical Character from 1920. The Franklin County Clerk certified that O. C. Gillette was a Justice of the Peace and the deed was a proper and legal certificate. The Certificate includes the embossed seal of the Board of County Commission, Franklin County, Kansas.
