This warranty deed transfers 42.30 acres of land from Ottawa University to Pka-kun (Ottawa Indian) for the sum of $52.87. The deed is dated June 22, 1865. The deed was signed by John (Tauy) Jones who was treasurer of Ottawa University at the time. The land was in Franklin County, Kansas, in what was known as the Ottawa Reservation. The original warranty stamps are afixed to the document.
