Description
This is a copy of a letter sent to inform the Commissioner of Indian Affairs about damages received to the house and assets of Tauy Jones . A party of some forty men raided the home site. The chiefs of the Ottawa Tribe requested that the government compensate Jones for the damages that were received. The agent who sent the original letter also made this copy.
