Wolf, Dr. G. B.

A system of drugless healing by which a practitioner by a thorough knowledge of anatomy and physiology and by appropriate manipulations adjusts structure so that nature can restore conditions of function to the body, is known as Osteopathy and was first successfully founded by Dr A. T. Still in 1874. When patients are cured by this method their disease hasn’t subsided, but has eventually left and they are permanently cured. At 221 Main St., of this city is to be found a distinguished Osteopathic physician, who is a graduate of the American School of Osteopathy at Kirksville, Missouri. He opened offices in this city on January 1st, 1905, and at present enjoys a large practice which has been won by his successful treating of all kinds of chronic diseases and ailings. The subject of this article, Dr. C. B. Wolf, was born in Walnut, Illinois; he has won a merited reputation here and stands high in the profession; he is medical examiner for the Modern Mutual Reserve and W. O. W. He is also a member of both of these societies.
