Concerns which add naturally to the completeness and welfare of our city and which are known to hold a fair attitude towards all classes are certainly entitled to our endorsement and should receive every encouragement and patronage from our people. Reference is made in particular to the metropolitan establishment conducted by C. W. Rambo at 214 South Main street. This business was established in 1908 and has gained a firmly established and meritorious reputation by affording all courteous treatment, high quality of shoes and moderate prices. 3500 square feet of floor spaces is utilized by the fitting department, repair department and large stock of high grade men’s, women’s and children’s medium and dress shoes and findings which are attractively arranged. Seven courteous clerks are in attendance who take pleasure in showing any shoes carried to those in need of goods in this line. Mr. C. W. Rambo was born in Ohio in 1847 and there educated. He is a member of the Masons, G. A. R., serving in the 39th Ohio Infantry during the civil war. He was treasurer for Oklahoma Territory for nearly seven years which position he held by appointment from the different Governors.
