F. B. Peck, grocer at 203 South Main street, carries a stock of staple and fancy goods, including wood, willow and tinware, flour, feed and provisions generally, that in variety and extent is hardly equaled in the city. In fact floor space 25 x 150 feet is entirely taken with goods which gives this the advantage of most similar stores in the county. Among the fine teas and coffees, the White House brand of coffee is a specialty. No dealer takes more pains to furnish a large assortment of fresh vegetables and fruits. In all respects, in fact, this house is quite up to date and kept that way. It requires the service of some half dozen persons to wait on the trade. Mr. Peck established this business in 1893. In a little over five years he has taken his place as a leader in his lines. It cannot be doubted that this flattering recognition and continuous growth of public favor is due solely to the genuine merits of the goods handled and the uniform liberal and courteous treatment accorded those who make this their trading place.
