A large line of staple and fancy groceries, flour, feed, smoked and dried meats, vegetables and produce and handled in extensive quantities. While this store has only been opened to the public a short time a large business is already conducted. This is owing to the fact that the proprietors are well known in this city as business men of sterling worth and the strictest business integrity. Mr. H. Furness was formerly manager of the Ottawa Brick & Tile works for two years. He also held the honorable position as counclman from the Fourth ward for four years. He is a valued member of the I. O. O. F. Mr. C. I. Furness was previously engaged in the grocery business for nine years and six years in the raising of fine pedigree horses.
